The Jersey Shore Aquarium Society meets at 8:00pm on the second Monday of every month (except August) at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Rt. 537 (70 East Main Street) in Freehold, New Jersey. Each meeting typically features an interesting slide, movie or video presentation of tropical fish, and aquarist related topics. Our presenters are often professionals in their respective fields or experienced hobbyists.
There is an annual fee that entitles JSAS members the privileges accorded to our club membership. This includes the ability to attend our regular meetings, receive our monthly electronic newsletter the Shoreline, access to the protected club resources here at this website, and our many events held throughout the year--such as, collecting trips and field events. The membership fee schedule is as below:
Family Membership: $30/year (any couple 17 years of age, who attend regular meetings)
Single Membership: $20/year
Junior Membership: $10/year (any person 16 years or younger, attending meetings on their own. Requires written consent of parent or legal guardian)
Guests: $5/meeting (applicable toward membership)
